Two minutes of eye exercise that actually protects your sight.

A guided daily routine with a streak (covering palming, focus shifts, blinks, and tracking) for anyone who stares at screens from sunrise to shutdown.

· Coach's note ·

Your eyes were never meant for eleven hours of fixed focus. The 20-20-20 rule helps, but a real two-minute reset does more: it re-wets dry eyes, frees the focusing muscle, and forces you to look up. Do it daily and the strain stops creeping in by mid-afternoon.

Look around.Every 20 minutes, shift your gaze to something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. This eye is sweeping the room. That's the reset your focusing muscle needs.

The science behind it

Up close, your ciliary muscle stays contracted and the lens stays rounded. Hold that all day and it cramps, the same way a clenched fist would. Near-far focus shifts let it relax, and palming gives the visual system a brief rest from light it rarely gets.

Blinking is the quiet hero: a full blink spreads the tear film, and screen users blink roughly half as often, so eyes dry out and burn. The exercises are short on purpose: the win is doing them daily, not doing them hard, which is why the streak matters more than the routine.
