Our Core Commitment

At mcrudra, we design our software with a simple, uncompromised rule: Your personal health and behavioral data belongs to you. We do not collect or monetize your personally identifiable info.

Anonymized Analytics: Our apps utilize basic analytics (such as Firebase Analytics) to track performance, errors, and feature engagement to help us improve. We do not collect or log personal info like your name, step count, or health metrics.

Mozy App Mechanics

Mozy is a screen time limiter and focus booster app. It measures usage periods and counts steps on-device:

  • Local SQLite Databases: All screen time records, app limits, and unlock logs are kept in a local SQLite file isolated to the app sandbox.
  • Step Counting Data: Step detection utilizes Android's hardware sensor manager directly. Step records are stored only on-device.
  • Zero Cloud Synchronization: Mozy does not communicate with external servers. Reinstalling or deleting the app permanently deletes all statistics.

Pozy App Mechanics

Pozy is a real-time posture corrector app that measures physical device tilt angles:

  • On-Device Motion Sensors: Acceleration forces and phone tilt coordinates are calculated in real-time using the device's built-in accelerometer.
  • Zero Camera Access: Pozy does not require or access your device's camera. All posture training is evaluated entirely via mechanical tilt sensors.
  • Diagnostics Privacy: Hourly posture compliance summaries and calibration parameters are kept locally inside the sandbox.

DOOVI App Mechanics

DOOVI is an eye care app that automates the ophthalmologist-recommended 20-20-20 rule:

  • Screen Time Triggers: DOOVI runs a local background foreground service monitor to measure continuous screen-on usage intervals.
  • Automatic Eye Rest Prompts: A gentle notification overlay triggers exactly at 20-minute screen usage intervals to suggest ciliary muscle resting.
  • Offline Scoring: Your end-of-day ciliary eye care score is computed locally on-device.

Device Permissions

To perform their respective digital health functions, our applications request specific permissions on Android:

  • Physical Activity (Mozy): Used to access step-counter sensor hardware to unlock screen time limits through walking.
  • System Overlay / Draw Over Apps (Mozy & DOOVI): Used to draw screen blocker overlays and rest reminders over active apps.
  • Foreground Service Permission (DOOVI): Allows running the screen time timer accurately in the background.
